Default Anyone entering Wichita 300

The two 300 mile races put on by U. S. Air Racing and sanctioned by SARL are
going to occur in July before the AirVenture Cup Race. The details of the
races are provided at http://www.us-airrace.org and the Sport Air Racing League at http://www.sportairrace.org.

One is out of Jabara in Wichita, Kansas on Monday July 16 and one is out of Stevens Point Airport in that city in Wisconsin.

I have tried to clear up the two organization's rules and this is what I believe the important ones are:

If you fly in the APR class (Aircraft Performance Racing in USAR terms) you
will be able to use GPS and any other nav aids just like we did at Taylor,
Texas last week.

You will basically be flying for SARL points and an "attaboy" paper if no
one else shows up in your SARL class.

Entry fee is $150 for each race.

Entry must be made by June 1 if you want to be published in the very fine
program USAR produces but they will accept entries almost up to race time.

If you enter both the Wichita and Stevens Point races you only get the SARL
points from your best finish.

These races are considerably shorter than the AirVenture Cup Race but at WOT max RPM fuel can be a concern. My wife and I are entering our RV-6A as racer #71 in the Wichita 300 and I am curious about other entries.
