Default NYC Hudson River Corridor - Covid-19

Great weather and clear skies and no one is out flying. It was a perfect day to take a flight through the hudson river corridor with my son. There was so little traffic we had to check the radio to make sure we were on the correct frequency. One helicopter flew over us and we heard 2 others make position reports. Other than that the entire hudson river was our. It doesn't get better than this.

G.A. fleet hours were already down 50% anyway east of the Mississippi since Vlad moved!

Wow, that must have been great. I have flown the corridor and it was a bee hive when I went through. Good for you!

Nice photos. My granddaughter and I flew the corridor on Sunday. Only a couple of other planes and 3 or 4 helicopters. Always a fun flight!

Did you see that interesting fort at the west end of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge? It's right at the base of the bridge tower. I thought it was very cool. I had never heard about it before.

That would be Fort Wadsworth on the Staten Island end of the bridge. John Paul Jones park and Fort Hamilton are at the Brooklyn end.
