Default securing wing tip extension rv 12

i have modified my wingtip extension and replaced rivets with #6 screws and platenuts. i want to add some proseal or something to make the installation as secure as possible but knowing i will probably remove it someday waterproof is not an issue. . a solid bead of anything around it seems unnecessary, there are 12 #6 screws. i am thinking a dab of something between the screws is enough. is proseal the thing to use or is there something else?
thanks in advance.
