Default Slick mag ignition wire harness ??

My IO-540 was test run with both mags at Barrett Precision Engines. I watched the run. The right mag was removed as i'm installing a Light Speed for the top plugs.

I have two sets of ignition wires marked "LH" (left hand) and "RH" (right hand). The left mag has a plastic cap and I'm ready to install the ignition wires to the left mag. There are no instructions. It appears that screws holes for the the plastic cap and harness cap are 120 degree apart but I don't think they are. When test remove and replace the plastic cap there seems to be a "correct" clock position.

Do the holes in the magneto cap if fact prevent an incorrect installation and if not how do I determine the correct clock position for the installation of the magneto cap (and wires)?

Thanks

Jerry

Yes. The holes are not exactly equally spaced, so it only goes on one way.
