Default Considering building an RV8, new tools needed?

I am considering building an RV8, I built an RV6 and finished it in 1997. I still have all my tools, rivet gun, rivet squeezer, a ton of clecos, drills, but is there any newer tools I should have? I was also wondering if I build a new RV8 will I still have to do the H-stab, elevator, and rear wing spar inspection?

If you built a 6, you should have everything you need to build an 8.

If you buy a new kit, Van's will include all the correct parts to comply with all service bulletins, such as the HS spar.
