Default TruTrak ?NO GPS?

Hello Trutrak experts!

As you may know it?s kind of hard right now getting ?tech support? from Trutrak what with their acquisition by King. We?ve run into a problem with our ?new install? Vision 385. We CAN NOT get the Trutrak to get a GPS position from the Garmin 375. Partial problem is the 375 is new so NO Trutrak literature covers it.

The 375 connects thru a Garmin Gad29B to a Garmin G5. We ARE connected to the Trutrak in that we can get the Trutrak to ?steer? using the G5 heading bug. Furthermore, the G5 works/navigates from the Garmin 375 but we CAN NOT get a GPS fix on the Trutrak from the Garmin 375. Therefore no GPSS steering.

The manual says that means we have a ?configuration issue? and/or a pin out/wiring issue. We have triple checked the wiring. Is it configuration?

Any EXPERT help appreciated to get a GPS fix on the Trutrak from the 375.

Thanks in advance!

Jj

Check the serial ports assignment in the TT itself (not hard wiring) otherwise the TT won't be able to talk to a GPS.
