RV's in Costa Rica?

I'm looking at stretching my legs and exercising my long-range tanks a little more and Costa Rica is a place I've always wanted to visit. Do we have anyone on here that operates in, or has been in and out of, Costa Rica? What is the political climate like there for EAB airplanes? Special requirements? Mexico overflight issues? I have the range to go direct from McAllen TX.
