Default -7 Firewall Holes/Parts

Hello crew. I am starting my -7 firewall and am curious if the current mindset is to wait until later in the build to drill holes in it for the various cables, hoses, lines, etc.? How about the firewall recess; install that at a later time, so that I may have better access inside the fuselage, but dimple the firewall for it now?

As I am just starting, I am not sure what other items I will have to mount on the firewall, nor what items are on the plans that I will not be installing. (Like the Aux Pump Doubler)

Thanks for some guidance.
