Default platenuts/anchor nuts

the platenuts acs offers in k1000-06 seem very flimsy compared what vans offers. there is at least a third more material between the nut and the rivet hole with vans. anyone else shy away from the acs style or is the extra metal just weight?

The ears only have to sustain the torque of the screw until the clamp-up occurs. A non-issue.

I like the lightweight versions better. They are easier to dimple.
