Default Need 5hr Sign-off by Instructor (Central NJ)

Trying to help a buddy out who needs 5 hrs & 15 T/O and landings in my 6A before he can fly it.

Any instructors in Central NJ who would be able to help? I am based out of 47N.

Thanks,
D

Can you tell me who your insurance carrier is? The one I have requires 300 hours in type before they will cover a non owner.

I hope you are not referring to the typical ?Open Pilot? clause. These are semi-worthless - they do not cover a non-owner at all! Read carefully.

You might double check but unless it specifically says a instructor there should be no reason you can?t fly with him.

Yeah, mine specifies that he must finish a 5 hour sign-off with an instructor who has time in same make/model for it to count as training so he can be considered PIC/insured.
