Default Erratic fuel flow

Hi guys.
I have an Electronics International round multi function fuel gauge/display that I leave on FF whilst flying. The other day the low FF red light came on and I noticed a fluctuating FF from 31 LPH to 36 LPH so switched to Fuel pressure and it normally displays around 20 PSI but was showing all over the place from 10 PSI back to around 20 PSI, any ideas guys?
Elect boost pump brings it back steady at around 22PSI
Thanks.

Sounds like an air leak upstream of the pump, or a bad pump.
