Default Magnitude 6.4 earthquake near Ridgecrest, CA - Axel Country

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake (a pretty big one) was reported near Ridgecrest, CA. @ 2019-07-04T17:33:48Z. This is Axel’s backyard. Fortunately this is somewhat remote but a lot of folks live in Ridgecrest and the surrounding areas.

Axel, when you have a chance give us a pirep and let us know if there is anything that we can do to help.

We are ok.

House, hangar, airplane have minor damage.

The town is busted up pretty good. No power, gas, etc.

Area was declared in ?state of emergency?.

No one that i know of lost their life.

Over 160 aftershocks since yesterday.

Thanks for checking on us!!

The information that I post is just that; information and my own personal experiences. You need to weight out the pros and cons and make up your own mind/decisions. The pictures posted may not show the final stage or configuration. Build at your own risk.
