Default How to get a VAF Cap on sale today.

I tried on two occasions to use the suggested vendor for a new VAF cap, but cannot find the hat model or color choices that Doug has on his cap page (left column of home page).

Today, I saw that have a ONE DAY hat sale (some more than 50% off), and have no set-up fee for logos/images. The basic sale cap (there are other choices) conforms to the original design. So, I made the DR requested charity donation (to the non-profit Wendover Historic Airfield, see: http://www.wendoverairbase.com/ ) and placed an order with Queensboro. I sent them a screenshot of the VAF page permitting use, so they satisfied their copyright concerns, and uploaded the VAF logo.

If you want to order a cap this way, AND have made a qualifying charity donation as Doug requests, then you can get to the order page here: https://www.queensboro.com/ then click the hat section (about one screen down page), look for the one-day sale link, and order your cap in a variety of colors. They can accept an upload of Doug's image file - the .png version - that is on the VAF cap page. Or you can tell them in the order comment section to use the "VAFcap" file name that is in my account #1736702.

If someone knows how to find the cap model and color choices that Doug specifies at his local shop, feel free to put it in comments. I couldn't find either and was happy to have an alternative source. (I have no business interest in Queensboro, just a new customer there as of today.)
