Looks great.

The download link for the software is working, but the link to the new manual appears to be broken. Please check.

How can I confirm I have a Bluetooth connection established between the G3X and ADS-B receiver to receive the new weather products? In my case I have the GTX 45R.

Thanks,

My original GDL-39 is connected via serial data.

I don't recall ow many concurrent Bluetooth connections the original GDL-39 supports ans I assume making this change will reduce that by one? How many are left for portable devices?

The GDL-39 can have one hardwired and 2 BT at the same time.

I have one screen hardwired and one BT and the 2nd BT connection available for the Tablet. Works great.

I don't plan to switch anything up, I will just look at the second screen or the tablet for these new products. Hopefully future software will fix the RS232 link to support them. I imagine the protocol will need to change since it was developed long before these new products were announced.

Default G3X Non-Touch

Any news on a software update to the legacy G3X (non-touch) to enable the use of the GTN vertical nav feature specifically?

Just flew 1.5 hours on 8.20 checking out the poppy/wildflower bloom in Antelope Valley and everything behaved itself as far as I could tell.

I see the Flight Logger is back to recording each flight as a discrete flight rather than lumping all legs of a round trip together as 7.00 did.

I updated mine and see the new features but for both "cloud tops" and "lighting" I only see "Waiting for data"

Is a user issue, equipment/SW issue or ADSB system broadcast issue?
