Default Wiring Question

Maybe this post will be moved, but I figure I will get more people to view here and chime in.

I am building a 14 and I purchase the wire harness from SteinAir and then I just got the panel from them. The question is: the D-sub connectors coming from the main wire harness and the panel can be run into the area behind the G3X on the pilot and copilot side, but I have to really bend things around to get them to connect (Is this OK?). I was wondering if it is OK to run a wire bundle under the sub panel to the area between the sub panel firewall?

Alternatively, I could run the bundle back into the central area (where the GPS is) from the panel WH and then and back out behind the sub panel to connect to the WH from the main WH.

Does this make sense?

Thanks
Ken
