Default Standard RV-14 W&B

I?d appreciate getting the weight and balance data from a flying RV-14. Looking for a stock airplane with an IO-390 and the Van?s recommended Hartzell BA CS prop.

I want the data to do the math on alternative battery locations to mount one or both batteries.

Thanks,
Carl

Hello, Carl,

Ours came out at 1,271 lbs gross, with CG at 79.9".

Pretty much as stock as you can get, with YIO-390, one mag, one P-Mag, Hartzell 2 bladed CS prop from Van's. AFS-built panel with two 10" screens. Oh, and an IFD Navigator.

We put stock batter in stock battery box, too

The downloads page on Van's web site has W&B examples derived from all of the prototypes.

Logan,
Can you give me the measured weight on each wheel?

Carl
