Default DIY Brake bleed pressure pot

Here are two homemade brake bleeder systems made out of local hardware store plumbing parts.

I got this idea from some smart builder who I don't know the name of... Whomever you are, thank you! This setup helped myself and others.
  • I use a low air pressure (10-15 psi) in these tanks.
  • The slight leaks around the screw on lid are ok - you don't want that pressure pot to keep pushing out the fluid. Leaking air out of the top of the pressure pot is fine.

The tall second generation version has enough capacity for a full quart of brake fluid, a 1/4 turn on/off valve, and a fluid level indicator. It also cost double the smaller version due to the crazy cost of those sharkbite connectors.

Short one cost less than $25.00
Tall one - around $50.00 as seen.
Commercial pressure pot systems seem to be a lot higher than these two values.
