I have a "v" shaped aluminum piece that grabs the TE of the rudder, then I run a bungie strap to the center hinge cutout of each elevator.

Just a simple piece of .063 and some fuel hose.

I'm gonna pilfer that idea. Always wondered what might happen if my tailwheel unlocked in a windy situation...

Thanks Mike!

Have at it!

It came about because I changed to a locking tailwheel so had zero means of gust lock. Not a big deal in my hangar but I was preparing to go out of town and realized the airplane was going to be out of doors for the weekend. I quicky threw this together between loading bags in the airplane. Took about 5 minutes to make and was expected to be a temp fix. Worked well enough I just kept using it.
