Default Armrests

All,
Is it possible (realtively easy) to upholster the armrests after they have been riveted in place. Or do I need to decide on my interior before riveting them in.

Thanks,

I purchased and installed mine after 9 months of flying.

The ones I have are held in place with contact cement.
