Default RV-7 & RV-9 Firewall Penetrations

The following images should help builders in the early (firewall) stage of assembling their aircraft.

Some of these images came from optional drawings that most purchase later in the project. The drawing number is listed above each picture.

In addition to these pictures, I recommend putting platenuts aft of the firewall for the battery box, Gascolater, brake reservoir, Pressure Sensor Manifold, and any other component that may require future maintenance. (For example, removing the battery box after construction is complete requires two people, one in the footwell and one at firewall, if built per the plans.)
