Default Cecil Field Air Fest

Cecil Field in Jacksonville is having their first annual "Cecil Airfest." EAA 193 and EAA 1379 will display some experimentals and everyone is invited. The more RVs, the better! Here is the info (Not to be confused with me, that's my son, who is organizing the event for the Airport Authority):

Cecil Field Airfest

The Cecil Field Airfest will be held on Saturday, May 19th from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The event will consist of aircraft static displays, airplane rides, classic cars and motorcycles, and kids activities. Food will be sold by Hooters, Bonos, Bubba Burgers, Kelly?s Hop Around Kitchen, Taco Mama?s and others. There will also be a poker run for airplanes, cars and motorcycles, a live auction and raffle, all to raise money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Admission and parking is free.

Please contact David Dollarhide at the JAA Cecil Field Operations office at 573-1606 or email ddollarhide@jaa.aero if you would like to display your aircraft or take part in the poker run. Poker run entry fee is $25 with a chance to win $200. The airplane poker run stops are Herlong, Palatka Kay Larkin and Keystone Airpark. Anyone who brings an aircraft to the Airfest will receive a T-shirt and free Bubba Burger lunch and drink. Call for more details.
