Default Piper Blade pitot heating elements

Getting close to closing my wings, but would like to run all the wires and cables first .
My Piper blade type pitot has 2 heating elements. Do I need to wire them both? .. or is the second one just for the static port (which i am NOT going to use)
Thanks.

Default piper heated pitot wiring

I found a 10 year old post on the subject from "Art in Ashville" ... looks like you wire them both up in parallel...
who knew? :-)
