Default AP-1 Autopilot Alieron Servo Slips in One Direction

I recently bought an RV9 with an analog AP-1 wing-leveler AP (no heading hooked up). It levels one alieron, but when, on the ground, i push the stick the other direction (this might not be a great test) the servo just slips and slips. Is the servo bad, and, if so, how do i get another one (i think they are out of business). Thank you, David Shevick 415.794.2084

You can open it up and tighten the clutch.

Trio Avionics will check out the servo for you and you can use the servo with one of their autopilots if you want to upgrade to something modern.

Rocketbob,
Thank you for the reply, but my servo only slips in one direction. Would this still be an indication to tighten up the clutch?
Thank you, David

Does the servo work properly in flight? If so...just fly it.

Not sure what you mean by "levels one aileron".
