Prop Governor
Does anyone here have experience with a Whirlwind 200RV prop with the Hartzell S-1-10 governor that Van?s sells? I originally had the blended airfoil Hartzell, but my partner (at the time) had an unfortunate incident and destroyed the prop. I had to have my brand new IO-360 rebuilt and ordered a new prop - the Whirlwind this time. I?ve used this prop on my last two RV?s and liked them, however, I had the Whirlwind supplied Jihostroj governor. I thought they operated at a higher pressure, but not sure. Anybody have a PIREP?
