Default 2050 Hour Borescope

Daughter Megan was home from San Fran for the week and said she needed a pancake run this morning....so we went! On the way home, we tipped over 2050 hours and we did an oil change.

Compressions were 76/78/77/77 all cold. Lower plugs looked great!

The filter had some carbon in it and the screen was clear.

Here's your valve porn via the $11 camera on a wire - they look pretty good - sorry about the #4 Pic...

Based on Pete’s photos and advice I purchased this little WIFI camera via Amazon Prime for $25.99. I liked the semi rigid flat cable because it has a smaller “footprint” going through the spark plug hole. To get the valve pics you have to bend the camera on top of the wire so it is looking up at the valves, it takes some manipulation while in the cylinder but gave me decent images of my valves. The WIFI feature is nice because it works with IPhone/windows computer/Android.

Hey Mickey,

Oil: Phillips 20W-50XC

Fuel: Mostly 92 Mogas - EtOH free, Some 100LL when Travelling

Additives: Fly early and often and.....Flamesuit on.... I use a bit of MMO in the Mogas. If nothing else, my fuel selector is well lubed.......

LOP: All but takeoff

Ignition: Dual PMags

Andy's Camera looks better than mine, for a few bux more.
