Is this an aluminum prop? How do you magnaflux aluminum?

Is this an aluminum prop? How do you magnaflux aluminum?
Magnaflux is a Brand as well as a method. They make dye penetrants as well as the magnetic particle inspection materials. Perhaps he meant the prop was dye penetrant checked but was with the Magnaflux brand of stuff.
I have some of their dye penetrant and developer on my shelf right now.
Just speculating.
