Had a nice local flight yesterday with smooth as glass air. Temperature inversion kept it hot down low so climbed to 8500 feet to escape the heat.

I had a controller call traffic for me on my ghost image from santabarbara to santa monica; he was embarassed when he realized.
Always love the view of the islands from there. Thanks for sharing.

I hear you Erich. Though not Santa Barbara, my backyard has a lot of attractions. We had several hours break between rolling TRFs the other day boy that was intense. The airspace was swarmed I don't envy our ATC we were all over everywhere
