Question Drilling bends through aluminum

I just received my airfoiled Grove gear for an RV-8, which are gorgeous, but now my curiosity is driving me crazy.

Can anyone tell me how they drill the brake lines inside the gear, around a bend, and through a 90-degree sweep at the end?

Drilled before they are bent.
