Oshkosh with my son

Heading to Chicago Saturday the 28th to pick up my son from Great Lakes Navy Base as he has 2 days leave to spend at Oshkosh before starting A school. Looking for ideas on a place to stay the night of the 28th near Oshkosh. Camping is an option as I am driving up from St Louis to pick him up.
