This happened on Friday flying down to Calaveras Co airport.

Yes.

I know that it is not that big a deal -- there are many RV's with much higher time. But it is a milestone of some minor note.

Actually, it's more like 500 hours. But more importantly, that was Steve's 1800th posting to VAF! So celebrate something!
