Default TR-87 tubes.

WE have been buying the tire tubes from Van's in the past. But would like to know if any of the gang here has had any use of the TR-87 Leak Gard type tubes that ACS has in there catalog. We have noticed that the ones Van's puts out are a little thin and can have some pin-holing at times not related to a puncture or crease. Any input on a better tube on the market?
Thanks, Yours, R.E.A. III # 80888

I used the 500x5 Leakguard tubes on my 4 for 3 yrs and 450 hrs. Used to have to rotate the tires on the drum every 25 hrs to even out the wear. The tubes survived the constant rotations with no issues. The original tubes required air topping every month or so. Not so with the Leakguards. I have less than a year and only 135 hrs on my 7 with no tire rotations or changes to date but I will use the Leakguards when I change tires and tubes next. They hold air well rarely requiring a top up.
