Default Name of control cable fitting that pivots?

It's been a while since I worked on control cables and I've forgotten whatever I knew about fittings.

The issue is a carb heat cable attachment at the flapper. My cable broke, I believe because of pivoting from a fixed cable clamp.

Isn't there a type of cable clamp fitting where the clamp portion itself pivots to eliminate strain? If so, what's it called?

I've done some internet searches but the lack of a proper term for the fitting makes it difficult to find.

Honestly, I'm not 100% certain there really is such a fitting, but I'm hoping so.

TIA
Gary
