Default Firewall Eyeball - simple question

The eyeball firewall pass thru's are available with different hole sizes - one size is .260 which seem like the closest fit for Vans Throttle & Prop cable. However, when I measured the cables I came up with .270 . A while back a bought the eyeballs with .125 holes and now I need to get the right size drill bit to enlarge the hole. So which is better .260 or .270 ?

Default Drill'm

I ordered the smaller size and drilled them out for the proper cable fit. The .260 was definitely too tight for the stock cable.

I also drilled one out for the battery cable. My batteries are mounted inside the cabin.
