Default Mars Research Station

There is a fascinating place in a Utah desert. It's Mars Desert Research Lab where teams of scientists from different countries simulate living and working in martian like conditions.

I took UT95 route to Hanksville.

Passed Hanksville airport KHVE then turned west.

It took me about 5 minutes to locate the station. It was not here

and not there.

It was hidden between stone hills under a ridge.

The explorers were inside the Hab. I made couple circles didn't see anybody around.

If you ever in the area fly over take a look. Breathtaking Martian landscape.
Where is N666BK?

Default Highway in pix

Oh way back on my motorcycle saw that highway that never turned as far as one could see, temp 100 plus.
Nice find like the area topo that one cannot see from the ground.
