Default uAvionix and GRT

I know there is another thread like this but it is over 10 pages and only has 2 posts about the subject, uAvionix and GRT.

I just finished installing my uAvionix with SKYFYX GPS and connecting it to my GRT HXr. Contrary to what uAvionix was saying, the GPS will pass thru the UAT to the EFIS and give me a WAAS GPS position. The factory said I would have to pigtail (Y connection) the GPS signal from the SKYFYX output (SKYFYX pin 3) that goes to the UAT (UAT pin 6). That was not necessary. The UAT passes the GPS signal thru to the EFIS.

Below is a screen shoot of my EFIS settings page. The very bottom is the choice to tell the EFIS to look for the GPS signal as either GPS1 or GPS2. I have serial 8 in set for the ADSB and this leaves my last serial input, serial 3 in, available for my back up GPS.
