Default PMAG timing with IO-390

Considering that PMAG timing is set at TDC and the standard timing for a IO-390 is at 20 BDC compared to 25 for a 360 engine, just wondering how do people set the timing on their IO-390? Do you set the time at about 5 ATC so the result for idle time/start up would be the same as 20 BDC?

You can set the timing as you mentioned or you can set it to 20? BTC with either the EICAD program, free from Emag, or with the EICommander.

The you set it to TDC when timing the P-mag.

If you elect to configure the P-mags with the EICAD program, then you leave the jumper out.

Check you PM's.
