Default Stand-by Alternator Photos

Anyone have photos of installation of a stand-by alternator on the rear engine case? It's kinda crowded back there and I am wondering about interferences. Thanks.

I would be interested in that myself as I won't have mags on the back and was curious as to the spacing.

Default Hope this helps

This is the only picture I can find. The round orange object below and in front of the oil filter is the B&C 8amp PM alternator. The orange part is always rotating when the engine is running.

Here is a picture of the B&C 410 on the back of my io390

Here is a cluttered view of the engine on the 14. I had no significant interference issues. However to tighten all four mounting bolts I had to remove, and then reinstall, the right mag. Someone sells a special purpose wrench that will allow you to install the tricky nut with the mag in place.

Thank you. This is just what I was looking for and glad to hear there were no significant interferences.

Here's my B&C on the back of my IO360, with a right-angle oil filter adapter.

They were indeed - I had to break myself of the habit of setting tools and stuff on the wings when I took it in for paint!
