correction: I just remeasured just the fiberglass cowl and it is 40 3/4 inches from the spinner face (I put a straight edge on the face) to the back of the cowl, measuring along the plane of the cowl. With the rear of my trimmed cowl sitting on the ground it is 40 5/8" from the bottom of the spinner face to the ground.
