Default Garmin GSA 28 Pitch Servo

Hello All,

Merry Christmas!

I'm not sure which hole in the servo arm should be used on the Garmin GSA 28 Pitch Servo for my RV7. It "looks" like the first, or outermost one is used, when looking at the drawings.

The G3X Flight Test Plan Document from Garmin indicates, "Note that for most of the RV series of aircraft, the optimum servo arm mounting hole has been determined and documented in the installation manual, and is not always the inner hole. Use this guidance when available, and, of course follow the WARNING below for any installation." WARNINGS follow in that document.......

Reviewing the Installation Manual...I don't find this info...

Anyone have guidance on this? Thank you very much!

I installed mine using the outer most hole. The travel for the arm worked out well with the bell crank, and the servo has plenty of power at 50% torque.

The awesome folks at Garmin just confirmed the outer hole is what?s best on the RV7.
Mark, thanks to you as well!
