Default Roll Construction Angles

On Page 29-4 for RV10 getting ready to roll my side skins. Step 2 gives me dimensions for making F-1070a&b Roll Construction Angles, but can't see which stock I'm suppose to use.

Do I make this out of AA6-063x3/4x3/4 (1/16") stock or the AA6125x3/4x3/4 (1/8") stock?

Pretty certain I used 1/8" stock. It took quite a bit of force to get the small bend radius / cone shape required.
It's been a while since I did it, but I seem to remember that the 1/8" angle flexed quite a bit torsionally while bending the skin. I probably wouldn't want to put up with the flexibility of 1/16" for this step.

Thanks for quick reply. That's what I assumed, but with didn't want to use the wrong one if it avoids having to order another 6' piece of aluminum down the road.

Default Skin bends

I did mine couple months ago. I had a couple of pcs of granite backsplash that I used to clamp down to the table instead of making the wood clamp. It took quite a bit of force to get the roll right, between the vise grips and using my hands to grip the angles. Remember to push IN toward the table so you don't get a crease in the skin where it is clamped to table. I bent a little at a time and checked with a angle finder till I had the angle the plans referenced. It fit perfect. Hope it helped. And yes it is 1/8" angle used.
