Default hole location for tail spring mount QB7

Wondering if the tooling hole (blue pen) in the aft bulkhead of my QB RV7 is where the third bolt hole is located (green pen). Did not see this referenced in the plans, but it seems to line up correctly.

Thanks!

Hi Sean. You need to skip ahead and read page 8-5 where it talks about the fuselage assembly. You don't need to drill these bolt holes in the rear bulkhead until you have the vertical stabilizer in place.
Good luck.
Tom.

Default keeper rivets

Hi Tom,

Thanks for your reply. I'm trying to get a reference point before I install the keeper rivets. It seems installing these rivets commits my position of mating parts for later hole drilling, edge distance, etc. I figured making a mark on the WD-409 that shows through this tooling hole may help me get parts into position.

Probably overthinking things again. Just want to get it right with so many involved parts and structural considerations.

Thanks!
