One data point: years ago a partner in a 182 had a prop strike. The adjuster didn't even bother to come look - he said just send some photos. They paid the bill with no hassles, including tear down. The adjuster said he was on his way to a Lear Jet accident - the 182 was too small to bother with. Our rates remained unchanged. Now, if there had been or were to be additional incidents, they might change their mind.

My rates went up $100. They were going down, and I suspect a couple of years before they start going down again. I?m now at $1250 a year.
