Default Sealing QB Firewall

If I recall correctly, there is direction to seal the firewall and fuselage intersection using FlameMaster or a like product during construction. Because I have a QB fuselage, I'm imagining I will just lay a bead of product on the inside perimeter of this joint. Does this sound correct?

Thanks!

That is the best way to do it as long as you do it early.

On the six we also run a bead along the belly skin at the wing root.

Sikaflex makes a nice caulking for this application.... look for it at ACE hardware. Remember, you are just sealing against CO & H2O. May as well make it as easy as you can to apply.

Thanks for the help, gentlemen. I will apply a bead along the interior intersection using 3M FireBarrier 2000.
