Default Traditional vs alternative engines

I was trying to track down info on the Orenda Engines the other day and came across this.....

Traditional Engines

I thought it a quite interesting and thorough discussion.

Milt,

I printed the article to read today, but just out of curiosity...do you know when this was written. The header paragraph states that there will be significant developments coming for the beginning of the next century. Late 90's i would presume? Obviously not written in the 2000's, but I just wondered of it's vintage.

Thanks! Looks like a really good read!

I've read this one before and it is bang on the money on most points. There are a few oversimplifications but generally a very accurate article.
