180 hp o320

Like to visit with anyone who has converted an o320 to 180hp. Currently have a o320 150hp, and looking at options for more hp.

I converted an O-290 D2 135 hp engine to an O-360 188 hp. It was easy, just write a check and spend time in your shop fitting it.

This will take some work, but can be done. Polish the cylinders, 10-1 compression pistons, dual p-mags will get you 175+hp out of an 0-320. If the engine is apart for overhaul, go with the 0-340 stroker option. If your engine is an old 150hp e2d with the small front bearings and no cylinder hold down plates, then i would not attempt to get 180hp out of it.
