Revised thread
Guys---Just want to remind everyone, and bring to the attention of those that didnt know, or overlooked it, that the Beringer calipers and master cylinders do NOT use an NPT thread, but a 10mmX1.0 straight thread. NOPE, a NPT threaded AN fitting wont work in place of the banjo bolt. Unless of course you like cleaning dripping brake fluid and having a non functional brake system.
I had a Beringer customer send me some pics yesterday of a install and saw the AN fitting in the caliper. NO it wasnt a metric to AN conversion fitting. It has since be pointed out, and rectified I think. In the US, we've gotten spoiled by NPT threads in these accessories. Remember, these components are made in France, where straight metric threads are the norm.
Please dont try this at home. There are ways to convert to AN if you want to use tubing or hose.
