Anybody stayed here before that can comment on the airstrip? Is it open for guest to fly into, and is it suitable for -A models? FD92, http://www.danvillebnb.com/

Had a non-pilot friend tell me she just spent a weekend there and said it was really neat.

Yep, stayed there I love it. The airport is owned by Dan Shaw. I've used that airport for more than a decade to visit my parents that live a mile or two away. Never had an issue landing or taking off. Talk to Dan he will give you some first time pointers. Another house on the airport has an RV-12.

Looks like a great place. Grew up here and never knew that place was there. I would definitely make a call to check on the runway condition. The ground is still very saturated and soft after Irma.
