Default Pilot ticket

So I got my private pilot ticket on Wednesday. I took me more time and effort than I imagined. I am so relieved to have gotten through the process it is hard to put into words.
I only occasionally toot my own horn, but I thought I would let the few people I know on this site that I had finally pulled it off.

Mary Schu was my examiner and she was just a pleasure all the way around.
Mary asked me to jump, so I jumped. Is that a normal aviation thing to do, jump?

Bill, I had studied and studied and studied...so it went very well for me. I interviewed other people who had Mary and my instructor knew her special questions and that was invaluable. It was rather short maybe an hour of actual intense questioning. I scored pretty high on my written and that paid dividends as well.
Jon Finklea, my instructor was really all in and was SO helpful and really cared. 22 months he had me and never gave up!

Thanks Bill!
