Default Red Cube Screw Type Connectors

Did most builders who installed a Red Cube use those screw connectors provided with the Red Cube? Or did you use any other connector? The installation manual has me thinking that those little red screw connectors are mandatory, but I don't like them because they are so huge.

Is there any problem just using D-sub pins to connect the three wires of the Red Cube.

After reading about a couple of connector issues, I just soldered mine and left a wire loop for future removals.

If you mean the single wire joiner that is tiny and red coloured with an allen ky screw.........?

They are OLC-1's I think?

They are the best thing, even better for your EGT and CHT connections. And yes I know a thing or two about this

I used a 4-pin Deutsch DTM connector with integral silicon seals and solid barrel type pins (high quality barrel crimp) and the extra environmental boots to each end.
