Default Roll Bar Mirrors

One of our members sent me a PM, asking how I made my roll bar mirrors.
I'm copying my response here in case others might like to make a set of their own.

Cut mirror from thin glass mirror material. Wrap edge with copper foil. Solder end of foil to secure. You can stain foil black with patina solution (sold in stained glass supply stores).

Cut aluminum backing plate and fashion mechanism with small machine screws and nylon washers to allow mirror tilting. Attach mirror with double-sided tape and secure to roll bar with band clamp.
